Cancellation of an event or the non appearance of artistes or personalities
can result in substantial out of pocket expenses and lost profit. We arrange
insurance to protect organisers, promoters and sponsors against such non
appearance including :
reduction in box office and media revenues due to non-appearance of the insured
artiste where performances are not cancelled, refunds of advance ticket sales
or loss of expenses or gross revenue, where the non-appearance causes cancellation
of performance(s), loss of guaranteed fees to performers increased cost in
engaging substitute or understudy.
Typical coverage provided by a Non Appearance policy includes:
• Personal Accident
• Sickness
• Death
Or any cause beyond the control of the Assured and the named Insured person(s).
Excludes:
• Financial causes
• Lack of support or sales
• Deliberate act of the Assured or Insured person(s)
• War
• Radioactive contamination
Please note: a declaration of good health for the Insured person(s) is normally
required.
